Islamorada Fishing Trips & Methods

Reef Trips consist of fishing Alligator Reef and some of the surrounding structures.  Bud N' Mary's Marina is located due north of this famous coral reef.  Several species of snapper, cobia, mackerel, and shark are targeted on a reef trip.  Reef trip methods are flat lining and bottom fishing with light tackle gear.  Trust your captain, fishing Islamorada is not like any other fishing destination.  The key is good bait and a light line.  A reef trip can be done on a half day or an all day.  Any arrangements can be made according to the customer's request.

Offshore trips in Islamorada are full of excitement and action.  Again, the most successful and action packed trips are the light action trips  Live baits on light line will provide anglers with none stop action.   A variety of snapper, mackerel, cobia, dolphin, wahoo, and sailfish are targeted on an all day trip. 

Swordfishing is hot in Islamorada.  Bud N Mary's Marina is second to none for targeting this species.  Islamorada is a good location for fishing for swordfish during the daytime hours.  This trip requires a minimum of 10 hours.  Sit, wait, and hook up on one of the most acrobatic fish you have ever seen.  Swordfish are beautiful to watch, fun to fight, and tasty to eat.  The rewards for this type of fishing are unmatched.
